Change the Song

He touched her arms lightly,
Tunes filling the cold breeze,
Glow of the world beneath,
Shining into stars in a mob.

Time eluding everyone,
Notes of eras meshed in,
Waves of nostalgia,
Engulfing with a touch.

Bass in a different line…
Snowing in the summer…
Fireworks of memories…
Deserted in strands of life.

Echoes of lust in the air…
Webbed lines of sanity…
Nights caught in wasps…
Broken vows of insanity.

They tell you about the end,
They like to think of dreams,
They tell you of belief in Magic,

They tell you to change the Song.

Folsom Blues

The more I stayed the same…
The more things around me changed…
Hues of different eras meshed in…
Lost in a haze of Psychedelic

Running into the unending nothing…
Running between walls of my own make,
Running without a thought in my head…
Running away from Pandora

Pandora pulls me closer…
Gravity killing me inside…
Light within breaking out…
Echoes of my laughter

Six feet under my virtues
Six feet under my memories
Six feet under my smiles
Six feet under my blues

The lies we tell

He threw the glass at the wall…
Tears falling slowly down her eyes,
I held on to the couch.

He holds her by the wrist…
Pulling her down from the bed,
I clutch tighter.

He drags her to the ground…
Her hands looking for mine,
I don’t shed a tear.

He pulls her by the feet to the door…
Lines of abyss running down her face…
Screams of silence in my ears…
I let go.

Running towards her now…
I tell her I am happy…
I tell her they made me…
But I unmade myself tonight.

Some memories never die,
Pandora keeps them alive for me,
And everything else is just,
The lies we tell…

The lies we tell them…
The lies we tell ourselves…

The Broken Wall

Drops of the whisky hung in air…
Falling slowly on my fingers,
Moving to a rhythm of chaos,
Moist of the night kissing my wrist…

My hands clenched the metal,
My fingers held against the glass,
The dress slipping off of me…
Moist of the night creeping inside me…

I swerved to the right…
A screech breaking the silence…
The slow moment crashed into,
I could see the wall now…

Rush of the windscreen through skin
Headlights shining on…

It’ll be over soon

He held me still by the arms…
Running his hands through my hair…
Bringing them down to my lips…
A tear crawling to his fingers…

His body pushing me farther behind,
His lips on my neck,
I tried to scream,
I knew he couldn’t hear me now.

Tearing my innocence,
With his bare hands and skin,
He looked at me for a moment,
He held me close, so still.

Lost in his trance state,
He forced himself on me,
The curtains flying to the breeze,
Red covered my wounds.

I stopped trying to run away…
I moved to scars as I held him…
I heard him smile…
‘Don’t rape me’, another tear fell…

He had whispered to me then,
‘It’ll be over soon’
It isn’t… It never will be…

What I didn't tell you

All you know is... All I told you

Here's a few not so wise things I learnt in this crazy, smiling mess of a life... I say them out loud... Only cos I cannot take them back then...

Things that scare you are the ones worth talking about the most...

Never say no to a new experience...

Be promiscuous with your experiences... Not with your mind

Want! Never need!

Be honest with your opinions... Those who stick around are the ones meant to

There should only be one reason to be with someone for life... Love

Love is what you define for yourself

Your body is not a temple... It is a gift!

Timing is nothing... Intention is everything

The world needs more kindness and less money

Know the world around you... Even more so the world inside you

Say the things you think without sugarcoating

Define your standards... Stop following the ones they defined

People will try to control you... Let them... Then let go

Travel makes you more open than anything else

Travel is a way of life... Not an easy one

Figure out who you are before you figure who you want

Everything is a choice

Be the absolute version of yourself... No customizations!

Lines of Sanity

Specks of old air fill the breeze,
While she dances on her naked toes…
I light the cigarette as she stops to look,
Her eyes looking at me like cold death.

I lurk in the corner of the room,
As she changes the song again,
Another moment lost to destiny,
Letting go of all control, I smoke.

I hold her by the waist,
As she looks around for him,
I let go and leave the room,
‘It is everyone and no one’, she smiles.

Daybreaks of being alone now,
Wanting to be feel lonely again,
A light strand of sanity to keep me awake,
Holding this version for another moment.

From all they know…
To all she doesn’t…
From an indifferent moment…
To feeling nothing…
