A kiss amidst the Alps

Soft caresses..
Frosty windowpanes…
Brush of the feather-fairy…
Disrupted contrasts upon us.
Why did we hang up?
Voices of incongruity,
We touched upon dawn…
I held back… I wonder why…
Smoke-laden dreams,
Drunk on melancholy…
Smeared with a smile,
Sunscreen, a beautiful gift.
Arched in snowstorms,
Melting words… Untamed fires…
Twilight angels… Encapsulated fireflies…
Broken glass bottles…
Swords of kisses…
Jigsaws of lingering pain…
A peck on every inch…
Blowing the blades away,
Curtains upon the glorious…
Shades of horizons upon us…
Late as always…
I smile in hushed voices.
Longing to hold you in deserts…
To dance in the rain…
To waltz under the moonlight.
Cast away- you and I…
Pirate cries from distant lands…
Ammunition missing…
Calendars rendered useless.
Bathing in cold seas…
Under the chilly night mist…
Dripping in the unspoken.
I lay down the armour tonight…
Invisibility cloaks forgotten.
Atop a thousand views…
Beyond a thousand dawns…
The snow between our toes.
Broken vows of infidelity… Points of no return…
Silken strangleholds… Crumpled sheets…
Clasped undercurrents beside the fireplace.
Curled within each other,
Entwined into hisses…
You look at me,
A kiss amidst the Alps…
A kiss was all it took.
